What a great post! I'm an early morning runner and find that it really sets me up for the day. Your run sounded fantastic and working out your route so that the uphill bit is covered in your warm up walk is extremely good planning. I've found it quite inspiring lately going out before most of the streetlights are on & looking up at the stars, it just adds anothe dimension to my day.
