Well what an adventure. Started in April having not run since school (am 42 now) and could barely run 60 seconds. Thanks to c25k and the support on this forum, I've just completed w9r3. Took me longer as had a trochanteric bursitis injury just as I got to week 9 back in May. Rested well and started at week 1 again but had more rest days, sometimes 1 day in between, sometimes more. Never doubt your capabilities, this program works, I've just proved it (as well as many others) π€©
Graduated tonight. I'm champion of the world..... - Couch to 5K

Well done! That's brilliant! I had just finished week 4 when I picked up an injury so resting at the moment but hope to achieve it one day! π
Congratulations, great job.
Congratulations!
Well done! Itβs encouraging to read your story. I started in July, but have struggled with a calf injury and have had to take several weeks off. I started running again last week, going back to Week 3, but am battling a bit with motivation. I MUST keep going!
No one would argue with Jo. She was my mentor too. Well done to you. Many happy running days to you. πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ

Congradulations it is the best feeling enjoy ππββοΈ
Totally agree that itβs a great programme. I started in January, have had a few injuries and not run since school, but ran 10k in June and 10 miles in Great South Run in October. Wow! What a year and all thanks to c25k - Iβm 55 and had no idea I had a runner living inside me. Congratulations and continue to amaze yourself
Brilliant! Well done you ππ£π£π£
Hi Thegirldidit! Well done you! 10/10 for sticking with it. Now go and read the FAQ POSTS - C25K What next? Loads of good advice there. Keep running for thirty minutes while your body gets used to it. Consolidation! Then decide where to go from there.
I enjoy running to the free app RockMyRun. It lets me map my runs, records time, distance, step/minute, calories burned etc., and lets me choose from a wide range of gap free music. I choose Rock Legends, you may prefer 70s/80s or even 150/160 etc beats per minute. They are all there. No gaps!
There are NHS Stepping Stones podcasts, with Laura chatting to you. These appear to be like marmite. I enjoyed them at your stage. But one is only 16 minutes. I played it twice to get back home.
Just enjoy running.
Ace! Well done!! I've got Jo too! I just don't like the reminders how many seconds I have left! I'd rather not know. Congratulations! πββοΈπ
Welldone and congratulations π
