Me and the dog have Just completed the second week, but finding it hard ( I am anyway) . Feels like I need to repeat this week, just so I feel a bit stronger for the third week. Does anyone know if I can do this on the app?

Week 2 C25K
Do the programme. Hold right back on the pace if the challenge is proving uncomfortable.
All the repetition you actually need is already built into the programme (assuming you maintained a running motion during the run segments, however slow, and maintained a walking motion during the walking sections, however slow).
You *can* and people do repeat weeks although I don't know about the app... but you could download the Week 2 podcast instead and use that for the extra three runs - it comes with 'appropriate' (if not necessarily your choice of couch-listening) music, I wonder if sometimes the pace gets pushed by people's own choices on the app. There's no rush to get to the end and it will all build the habit of getting out there and your physical fitness. What it *won't* do so well, and may set back, is building your ability to 'be with' the difficult thoughts and feelings that surface when running - and that in my view is better addressed by support from the forum. If it is a choice between packing it in and doing more Week 2 sessions, do more Week 2 sessions. Otherwise: Week 3, you're more ready than you think you are.
Check out the FAQs, they're really good.
That’s really useful, thanks for your post. I will check out the podcast. But I think your right, I probably need a bit more of a positive thought that I can keep going and do it. Rather than the opposite. Many thanks
You can repeat a run on the app if you need to but if you did all that was asked of on week two I would move on to week three. It’s rediculous how much easier it gets! Am on week 8 run 2...... never would I have thought it possible after I struggled at the beginning! Positive thinking 👍🏻🏃♀️👍🏻
Hi there, i would suggest moving on to wk3. You may surprise yourself. I certainly have. Our bodies are way more capable then we give them credit for. It's our brains that shout "It's too hard" or "I can't be bothered".
As Googleme says, use the forum for inspiration. Post lots, good or bad, I think you'll find it helps x
Try anything that will take your mind off the seconds counting down. Mix up your routes. Listen to something, I prefer podcasts to music, others audio books. Beat the gremlins in your head 😈🔨🔨🔨
And finally take it slow, even if that means running slower than your walking speed. Build endurance first then increase speed x
You've got this 💪👍
Great advice, thank you... I will keep going to week 3. 👍💪
Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

You are in control, so do it any way you want, but if you run at the recommended easy conversational pace, then each week prepares you for the next.
Enjoy your journey.
