First, thanks to the many nice people who replied to me and wished me well for my hospital appointment, some asked me to say the result. I am pleased to say I am still in remission, next check will be in six months.
I should have gone for a run today but I actually walked 5.3 miles to bus and hospital and back. I hope that was a good enough excuse not to run when I got home! Most of that was in the rain although I was well protected.
So tomorrow, hoping the weather will be better, I should be on a run. What do others do if the weather is really wet? In the two winters I have been running I did not let the cold stop me, but I really don't enjoy getting wet!

I tend to get out if it’s raining. I’ve got a nice, light running jacket which I wear and which keeps the top half pretty dry. Though most times I end up shedding it because I’m too hot, then the rain is nice and cools me down ☔️🏃♀️😊
👏Excellent news to hear you are still in remission! After all you have been through a rainy run is nothing!! ☔️
I have my fixed days and times and am learning to be an all weather runner🤣
Just read your old posts and can see what an amazing and positive person/runner you are! Glad you got a good result at the hospital. As for the rain; I like it. Get yourself a peaked cap to keep the rain out of your eyes and get a good book to listen to, Its fun to see people staring at the mad person running through the storm
