Slow and steady is the best way! Take one run at a time! Enjoy the journey. All the future runs will wait for you. You can do it!! πππ¦
Yes, I used to get a sore throat.. I canβt even remember how or when it stopped.. the thing I never go without though is tissues. Iβm a snotty mess out there for some reason. Ha ha.
Youβre absolutely right about deciding to do that first run as the hardest part though cos once youβve done the first one, youβre then committed. Keep it up and youβll be great. Slow and steady wins the race. ππ
Great for getting to the end of wk2 , I used to get like a burning feeling in my throat. The only thing that helped me was to slow down and do some nose breathing now and again . It just takes a bit if practice. Well done you π
It took me 21 weeks but I very proudly got there in the end. I suck a sweet if my mouth is dry but keep it in my cheek so I donβt swallow it accidentally. Good luck with your running journey & keep us posted on here π£π£π£
