W2R3 done with a week since the last run (two gym sessions between though πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ)

The hardest part was getting myself out the door to do it...put some good tunes on and off I went 🎢

Does anyone else get a sore throat while running? I know it’s to do with my breathing 😀

And sometimes I am so slow I feel like a slow action cartoon strip!πŸ˜‚

Slow is best Jane, just keep going and you will get there.

Those good tunes sure do help πŸ˜‰

19 weeks is fine but just wait and see. Remember if you were still on the couch it could be 19 months. Enjoy

Slow and steady is the best way! Take one run at a time! Enjoy the journey. All the future runs will wait for you. You can do it!! πŸ‘πŸŒπŸ’¦

Yes, I used to get a sore throat.. I can’t even remember how or when it stopped.. the thing I never go without though is tissues. I’m a snotty mess out there for some reason. Ha ha.

You’re absolutely right about deciding to do that first run as the hardest part though cos once you’ve done the first one, you’re then committed. Keep it up and you’ll be great. Slow and steady wins the race. πŸ‘πŸ˜Š

Great for getting to the end of wk2 , I used to get like a burning feeling in my throat. The only thing that helped me was to slow down and do some nose breathing now and again . It just takes a bit if practice. Well done you 😊

It took me 21 weeks but I very proudly got there in the end. I suck a sweet if my mouth is dry but keep it in my cheek so I don’t swallow it accidentally. Good luck with your running journey & keep us posted on here πŸ‘£πŸ‘£πŸ‘£

Took me 9 months! I chew gum while running which I find keeps my jaw relaxed and my mouth nice and minty.
