Hoping my feet will let me do this

Hi

Week one for me, run 3 tomorrow. I've suffered with plantar fasciitis in the past so have invested in some decent trainers, professionally fitted. I really hope my feet don't let me down. Haven't run for about 13 years but have walked an hour a day several times a week for the last year which I hope will have helped my general fitness. Wish me luck!

I was really worried about a recurrence of PF but hasn’t been a problem so far (week4). Remember to stretch after ! Good luck!

I got plantar from wearing flat shoes. Very painful. Took a while get over but running helped me and good footwear obviously.

Hi I suffered from that years ago and so avoided running until this programme. I have rolled my feet out on a spikey ball after every run ( keep it by the sink so you can do it while you clean your teeth!) and I’ve just finished week 9 without it recurring. Hope that helps.
