I don't really know what week I'm on.. I think I was up to week 8 when it went pair shaped...bad foot, bad back, bad back again, breaks from running, going back weeks and trying to re-group.
I am determined to finish this if it kills me😂

Some do, but that doesn’t really matter... you’ll do it. It can take 8 weeks or two years, it’ll still produce a runner with a higher self esteem and a longer life expectancy. All the more kudos for doing this despite setbacks... winners never quit.
Don't let it kill you...........that would defeat be object of the exercise.
By running every other day it is possible to complete the plan in just over 8 weeks, and many do just that, but a larger proportion take longer than 9 weeks because life gets in the way.,..........no problem.
You will do it!
I’m on week 1 and I thought I was gonna die so Christ knows what week 8 is! Ha- but sure you’ll get there!
I completed the programme in 9 weeks, never repeating a run or anything, but I’m one of the vast majority who didn’t achieve 5k at graduation. No biggie.
I’m happily running 4k slightly less than 2 weeks after graduating and tomorrow I’m going to try for 5k - one thing’s for sure though, it won’t be in 30 minutes! 👍🏻🏃♀️🐌🐌
The "weeks" are virtual. Some people do it in 9, others take more. Listen to your body, respect what it tells you and adjust accordingly. It's your journey, not anyone else's. You 'll be brilliant in your own time and in your own way xx
Some great advice being posted here ...
It's not set in stone that you have to do it in 9 weeks, I'm on my second time through the course ... see my earlier post healthunlocked.com/couchto5......
I'm aiming for three runs a week this second time through, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, so It'll take me 9 weeks, my first time through C25k I ran every other day, and did the course in 8 weeks, and graduated with a 5k run ...
The distance, or time, is not the object here though, just follow the program at your pace and enjoy the journey ...
I was very relaxed about my running days. I sometimes had 3 rest days (had 4 rest days once). I know some people need a routine but I was happy to do it this way and it obviously took me longer than 9 weeks!!
