Lovely understanding boss

My working hours are 8-4 four days a week. I asked my boss if I keep up this couch to 5k I'm going to struggle to get my runs in when the clocks change.so asked my boss if twice a week can I work 9-5 so I can do my run in the morning before work... my bosses reply was HEALTH & WELL BEING IS IMPORTANT I DONT SEE WHY NOT....what a GEM he is
