So I am finally going to get round to running again. I have noticed a total turn in my mental health since I stopped. I'm setting myself a goal to run a 5k in Blackpool in July. I'm hoping doing one a few months away will give me chance to be really ready as last time I was able to run 5k I didn't have the confidence to enter into any events. And I really want to be able to do it in under 30 mins so here goes run nights are Monday, Thursday and Sunday. I really want this and know I can do it but why am I so nervous about restarting.

Jessie go for it, the running has helped me too, and I found doing a parkrun after week 9 was great, because its completely non competitive and everyone helps you through, no pressure on times, or anything else. Sounds like you are determined enough to crack it!!
