First few weeks after I finished Couch to 5k I did the consolidation runs, was getting a bit faster, finding it a bit easier and then BAM, massive upheaval and stress about work - so.. it's taken me a while and I went a bit quiet, a bit shamed that I'd gone down to once a week runs at weekend, because work was all over the place and I've been trying to sort out my new sleeping/working pattern. But, at least each weekly run I managed the 30 mins and just went back to normal slow pace.
Anyway - I'm back. My work schedule has changed YET AGAIN, and I think I can fit in Mon/Weds/Fri runs. And I did the first today, fully expecting to give up at 20 mins, but no, I did the full 30 mins and I'm determined as ever to go back out on Weds and do the next one.
I figured writing it down might mean I'd be more likely to do it. And maybe one day it'll be over 3k!

Bravo! You did it! Congratulations on pushing onwards in spite of dreaded work schedules. ☹️ So good that you are persevering and hope it will now be easier. Never mind the distance/speed. All research seems to agree that slow runs are as good for you as fast ones and maybe even better. 👍👏🏼🎉
Well done for getting back out there. There's no need to feel guilty or ashamed about missing runs! Life gets in the way sometimes and you'll pick it back up when you can. 😊
