This was because I was tackling hills I would have turned around to avoid during training,slowing down but not stopping.
Last night I took a left at top of hill,as I couldn't bear the thought of going up another slope.... ran the best part of a km downhill and did my first 5k in over 3 years in just under 38 mins.
Happy with both these .

Well done you. I started the program on hills so struggled from the first run. Half way through I went to a local park and found running on the flat really boring! Strange cos I still don’t like doing hills as I can only plod up them! 😂
Great running . Also tackling hills will make you stronger I started running proper hills in wk9 they're tough but great feeling when you get to the top😊😊
