Week two after I graduated, I've hit a flat note. Figured to keep to the 30 mins, just try and make it a bit quicker, do more than the 3.5 k. First two runs were better, but since then I've gone slower. I've run every other day from the first week, am wondering if I should take 2 days in between, is that taking a step back ? Any one have any tips, suggestions?

Consolidation runs, not feeling the love
Why not do a virtual challange - they're not expensive and you get some bling at the end obviously you have paid for it but it gives you something to aim for.
It is hard to keep motivation up at the moment I agree. But something is better than nothing
Have you read the guide to post C25k running? healthunlocked.com/couchto5... which includes links to articles about getting faster, which basically say that you need to spend 75-80% of your time at an easy conversational pace to build stamina and strength and only push for pace on the remainder.
I am sorry to tell you that you will not get faster on every run..........if that were the case I would be doing sub 20 minute 5ks................and it is the rookie runner's common mistake to attempt to do this.

I have had the same experience! I set myself the target of hitting 4k in 30 mins during my consolidation runs as I'm at 3.6. But it really messed me up - i was setting off too fast and gasping 15 mins in and then slowing right down. I just couldnt seem to find a good pace.
I used the first of the c25k+ podcasts yesterday (you'll find them in ITs links) and it sets a cadence. It felt way better so Im now going to forget progress for now and just work on "form". (Heh heh that sounds a bit grander than is warranted....)
Check them out - might help you too?
