Week 9 run 1 ...

I've just done the first of my 30 minute runs ... I have to say that the last 2 minutes were a slog .... But hey I did it and have a bright red face to testify. The wind was blasting in my face and seemed to change direction to make sure it stayed that way and there were a couple of moments I thought I might run out of steam but plunged on anyway. So glad I did. I have done the whole programme obeying Laura's every word ... Not missed a day, never walked when I should be running so I MUST do it now! Can't wait to graduate from running kindergarten and start big school. I'm going to get a new pencil case - well maybe some new sparkly laces for my running shoes to remind me of Laura 🤗

Great attitude! You deserve a treat once u r done! Just keep plodding, once I graduated I kept on with 30 minute runs and then on a good day, kept going to 5k! Just keep following the programme, mint really builds confidence and strength and when u r in big school u will find that growing by itself!

Nearly there. Finishing line in sight :)

Keep going! You're doing great. I obeyed Laura's every word too, and graduated a few weeks ago. I still use the week 9 podcast for every run but it now feels absolutely fine and not a slog. Amazing how much your fitness will escalate over the next few weeks! Enjoy 😀

Thank you for like your lovely words.... Now all hyped up for the last 2 runs! It's still blowing a gale; let's hope it calms down SOON, I did not like running in that wind! 👿

Same as me. I obeyed Laura's every word like a good girl. Graduated end of July and can now run 10k in around 1 hour, 5k in under 30min, just! You'll be a graduate soon. Then it's onwards and upwards. X
