Hi all, I’ve just finished run 3 week 8, it was tough! I haven’t eaten a great deal today, so am wondering if that had anything to do with it🤔? My legs got really tired and when I did my 5 min warm down after, they felt a bit wobbly. Has anybody else found it hard in week 8?

You say you hadn't eaten enough had you also not drank enough as that could cause your tired legs. You still completed your run. Well done you 😊

Any run is hard if your preparation is less than optimal.
Restedness, hydration and nutrition are at the top of my list of variables that need to be optimised. I know if they are not, then I will have to reduce my expectations of a run.......it will probably be tough, so I slow down and it will probably not be so enjoyable.

Hi - I found week 8 tough. I think for me it was my body getting used to to the repeated longer runs. You’ve done it and only 3 more till graduation - go you!

I did W8R3 yesterday and I felt the same. Got home and felt like I was run over by a truck so will have a longer break before W9 .
Very strange feeling & I wondered if I was just exhausted as I did my run after work !!
