I know i sinned today but I aim to do my first park run a week on Saturday so had to finish off my week 8 today - so I didnt have my usual days rest. I plan to finish off the course this week (Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday). I have managed to slow down to a consistant pace for my 1km splits (still think it could be a tad slower). I am actually excited about completing the programme and doing some park runs. I want to run a half marathon eventually. I cannot speak highly enough about this programme and forum, it has given me more confidence and a brighter outlook for my health. For all you newbies out there stick to the programme it works

Well, you should have had your rest day. You could have used the Park Run as the last run of week 9. So go over there, face the corner and think about what you have done!
Apart from that, how did you feel without the rest day? I sometimes wonder because I feel good the next day.
I felt good and that is why I did it. If I didnt I would have had the rest day.. I feel bad now. I always thought running longer was the bigger of the sins, but it appears rest is it. I will take it on board. As I have not run yet this week I will do Monday Wednesday and Park Run as my Week 9. Onward and upward
