A new PB

I graduated C25k back in June and have since been working on increasing my time running and distance. I have the great south run in October and training is going well!

I have my long run at weekends where I'm slowly increasing distance and during the week I've started doing the stepping stones podcasts to mix it up a bit. I haven't been intentionally trying to get faster as all I want to do is complete the great south run.

But today I've taken off 4 minutes off my time and that time includes my 5 minute warm up walk! So happy 😊

Congratulations on the new PB. That plan is suiting you well, that’s one big chunk of time to take off in one go!

I'm putting it down to new trainers! I wasnt getting on with my last pair after a gait analysis so went back as was getting sore feet. My new ones feel amazing and make me feel really springy... quite like I'm floating!

If they make a shoe that makes me nearly 10% faster I’m having 10 pairs!
