Apparently I am now a runner!! πŸ˜€ 4.7k including warm up and cool down walks. Kinda cheated on the last 5 minutes running down another street to avoid a hill. Seriously struggled on the last minute, regretting forgetting my water bottle despite filling it pre run... But I did it!!! Will try other routes, maybe some will have to be a short drive away. Not just for variety, but I can’t deal with breathing in traffic fumes part way... Not good.

Running a different route to avoid a hill isn't cheating in my eyes, its logical! Many congratulations! 😊

But I’m faster when going down... πŸ˜‚ And cheers! I was even more amazed with the distance I covered today. C25k plan before from start to finish was always around 3.4-3.8k

Yes you certainly did do it, well done!! W6R3 is a milestone run, and you know what? No more intervals for you :)

I think avoiding traffic fumes is definitely a good idea, especially with the huge volumes of air we runners gulp in, and yes that's you - a runner! 4.7k including warm up/cool down is pretty decent actually. Either your WU/CD is about an hour, or you're rather speedy!! Either way, well done.

Also no worries about the hills, perfectly natural. I did the vast majority of C25K along a canal towpath. Hills are good to do, you can either leave them till you graduate, or just slow down - a lot. There is a certain buzz to be had from running up a big hill :) Don't worry about it for now though, just run, and enjoy it (or try to!).

About 5 minutes warm up and 6-7 cool down... 😁 There is a canal about 2 miles from me. Defeats the object driving down, but I might give it a try. Always loved walking that way. It goes through a nature reserve too. Years back I walked 12 miles along it! Starting to wish it was next door. As for up slight hills I just need to gain more strength.
