Today’s run was hard and so was W3R1. I’m really dreading W4! I could barely get past the 3 minute runs how am I supposed to do 2 of them AND two 5 minute runs!

Hi!

Firstly well done 😁 & Just remind yourself of why you laced up those trainers in the beginning, keep pushing you’ve come this far! remember if you need to take a breather then hit the pause button ⏸ and brisk walk until your ready to go again, there’s nothing to be gained by over working yourself! 🙂

Don't dread any run.....what good will that do?

Relax, read this healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and do your best.

You can do this.

Ha ha. I dreaded week 3 and week 4 and especially week 5. I'm now on week 7 running for 25 minutes non stop. Maybe just slow down a little and pace youself.

Just remember the SAS - Slow And Steady. You can do this. Take your time and let your body adjust gradually to the changes. We’re all here cheering you on x

I approached every run with trepidation, until I realised that the programme is really clever! Have faith, it works :)

The programme works but you have to stay calm and go really slowly. If you've got the energy you can always speed up near the end. If you're tense it makes it harder to breath so relax and enjoy. You can do this.
