Was quite nervous to start week 3 this morning as 3 minutes of running seemed quite daunting.
Took the advice from my last post and really tried to slow my running down and it’s amazing how much of a difference it made. Felt a bit silly running so slowly but it helped so much with my breathing.
Very glad I managed the run this morning. My next one will be while I’m on holiday as I felt stopping for a week would get me out of the habit.
How long did it take for you all to make running a habit?

Isn't it great when you take on board the advice given and it works. Also great you are going to run while on holiday . As for habit of running it happened to me very quickly as I picked 3 days and stick to them and still do . Well done you 😊
I used to run regularly years ago then lapsed. Came back to it last November but had injuries (not running related) so took 9 months to finally graduate yesterday.
I quickly got back into the habit of running 3 times a week but found that what helped was going really slowly (as you’ve found). Would also recommend you drink lots, sleep more if you need to (I found I slept for an extra hour or two a night for the first few weeks), turn up for every run even if you end up walking it, enjoy the rest days when your legs are quietly healing without you being aware of it. Good luck, onwards and upwards
