Wk3:3 completed

In the cool of the early morning sea breeze, I found myself in a happy place, doing my 3 min runs with less strain today. I have a little plan πŸ’‘ Run 1&2 I do through the park where it’s flat, shady & lots of plants to divert my attention. Run 3 I do through the dunes. It’s a nice path but a bit more undulating & a challenge to finish my week. I am so ready for the new goal of Wk4:1 on Wed.

I would never have achieved this without this group! Thanks everyone!! πŸ˜€πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Brilliant, you've completed wk3 and yes mixing up your runs with new routes keeps it interesting. Well done you 😊😊

Yes the structured running plan is the best but this forum makes it even better and you can talk about running until the cows come home 😊 where as people around you may find it boring

Aah these injuries are frustrating & require patience. Hope it goes well! Take care. Can you wear a knee guard or strap it for extra support?

Last time I spoke to the physio about supports he suggested it was better to do the strengthening exercises rather than wear a support. Though admittedly that was before I started the C25K! Will see how I go. At the moment it seems bearable on the runs but achy in between, though getting gradually worse. Thanks for the concern 😊

Well done Annieapple and your schedule sounds like fun. Just maybe i should be braver and mix it up a little and add in a little extra effort for R3's too πŸ€” Keep πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

I need the stimulus of change to help me focus away from the difficulty of the run. I also play relaxing music to keep me slow 🐌 and serene 🌷..will up the tempo🎢 in those last weeks!!
