Just nailed the 20 minutes week 5 run 3 this morning. Well I did it. Took faith from the programme and comments on here. (surely they know what they are doing by now. And turns out they do! ) I jogged slow 🐌🐌🐌 (i read the slow jogging book) and it was absolutely fine. No shin splints pain. Slightly different muscles to the ones I was using pre slow jog book. At the end I was thinking I could have gone a bit faster. But maybe then I would not have completed.

Congratulations on running that 20-minute run, just be careful regarding runs 1 and 2 of week 6, they have interval walks and runs and have caught a few people out because of that, if you run those two slowly you will be OK, run 3 of week 6 is back to a 25-minute non-stop run.

Well done! That's a huge milestone you've achieved there!

Keep up the good work!

Keep it nice and steady (slow) on your next run, it catches quite a few people out!
