Thank you to the people on here who gave me advice the other day. I did run 3 of week 5 this morning and I didn’t stop! I was very very slow but I can’t believe I did it!

Congratulations!!! I did week 5 run 1 this morning so i am just behind you. I know I can do run 1 and 2 ok but I'm nervous of run 3.

I was worried too but I just kept it slow and I made sure I kept myself well hydrated yesterday which really helped. You can do it!

That's where I slip a bit, km not good at the hydration but bit will have to make a concious effort on Thursday to do so!

You've got this Blue_runner . Just take it slow, steady, and if you can, just try to zone out. I created a 20 minute playlist (5 x 4 minute long songs) and just concentrated on them as I went. I used the same tactic for all of the non-stop runs on the programme. In the end, I thought of them as 4/5/6 song runs rather than the actual times.

Just be careful if you go down this route not to pick tracks with too fast a beat.

Yes I definitely think slow and steady for Friday!! I have been downloading the c25k audios each week and listening to the music that comes with those but I will definitely use your tip for when I complete the 9 weeks, thank you!

That’s wonderful!😄👏👏👏

That run is such a psychological breakthrough.

Slow is good - speed is irrelevant during C25K- & then for as long as you want! 😄

Well done lummers80 . That one is the milestone run that "proves" to us we can actually do this thing. From now to the end, it's just about adding those extra minutes on at the end to build up to 30 and you can definitely do it.

Good luck in the remaining weeks.
