... only I used the graduate podcast "Stepping Stones". Negative splits to the 4km mark (not including 5min fast walk) then random to get to 5km. Flat but very slight uphill then downhill so some resistance (you notice this when cycling coz you can freewheel back). At this rate maybe I'll get my 35min by the end of week 9?
Speed is not important, but I'm super impressed that I'm comfortable at both 30min and 5k even if they don't coincide, after having really struggled a few times during the programme. And for me I have to keep setting targets or I won't bother.
No running for a few days now as I'll be walking from Ely to Walsingham instead. And then only week 9 to complete.

I know. I felt good so carried on - slowing down for the last km. Had to get back to the car anyway!!! I also took 3 weeks to get from 20min to 25min so do have extra miles in the legs somewhere.
I'm about to walk the Walsingham pilgrimage from Ely so I don't imagine I'll be quite so bouncy next week. Looking forward to a nice jaunt round the once impossible reservoir.
It’s great to have so much enthusiasm, just be careful and take it one step at a time👍
