So... I've not ran for 5 weeks after tearing my adductor (listen to your bodies ppl- if it hurts don't go on to run a further 3 5kms!)
I've seen an osteopath and a sports physio 4 times. Today was the day I've been waiting for! He told me that I could run for a total of 10 minutes as long as I do it in 1 minute intervals.
God it felt good to be out there again! I was grinning like a Cheshire Cat! I was desperate to keep running when Laura told me to slow down to a walk but I made myself!
I could feel it slightly in my groin but it wasn't painful and I came home and did some really long deep stretches, elevated my leg and iced it fingers crossed it feels this good in the morning.
I'm so glad to be back to running and back to health unlocked. I've missed you guys! ☺️😊😀
