AS IF I JUST RAN 20 MINUTES

I DID IT. HOW DID I DO THAT πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ it’s an incredible feeling and yes I know I have a long way to go but the fact that I ran without stopping and of course I was knackered but I felt good is just amazing. That last 5 minutes was also a killer πŸ˜‚ I understand what you all mean now!

But I did itπŸ‘πŸ» onto the next one and the rest of the weeks. Week 6 here I come πŸ₯³

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran πŸƒ 😊 πŸ‘

How does it catch people out? Do they just go too fast because they think they can do it now it’s in intervals?

But thank you so much really proud

I think it’s because we ran for 20 mins which feels great so stopping and starting throws your rhythm and takes effort cranking up and winding down. But so necessary. Good luck!

See the reply from purple walker, however, if you take the two first runs especially slow and steady you will be πŸ†—.

As with you and purple walker have said that makes complete sense so thank you for letting me know before I start πŸ˜‚ I’ll power through πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ’ͺ🏼

Very well done Emolie πŸ™‚, that is the milestone run out of the way and psychologically I am sure it will boost you. As AlMorr says be wary of the intervals now but onward and upward for you πŸ‘

Thank you! Psychologically I really think it will and that is my biggest problem I feel. And yes I will be wary of the intervals!

Great well done. Keep up the good work. Yep I found W6 the most challenging but was fine after that. But you might sail through it. Good Luck.

Why did you find it most challenging? From the long run to intervals? Thank you I’m just going to take it each day as it comes.

I think because the W5r3 challenge went ok I thought W6 would be a relatively easy week, so had a wake up call. Plus yes the interval probably played a part as that was the hardest of the 3 runs. Since that all been ok. Still rest 1 run 1. The 5th run past graduation being 48 mins.

Excellent! Grit your teeth through week 6 and then trust me, it’s much easier just running but only because of all the stop start training weeks 1-6. Good luck!
