Week 5 Run 2 done! I was so worried about this run but everyone who commented on my last post talked about how much more of a mental battle it was than physical. So I downloaded a podcast I’ve been meaning to listen to for ages to distract me. It worked as it went much quicker than any other run. Although laughing at the podcast did mess up my breathing patterns haha. Here’s to running for 20 minutes!

Hi Whatnog... I listen to the c25k podcasts whilst on my runs, with my tunes blasting away.... And will continue until I graduate.... I will graduate, I will, I will I will lol
But when I'm just doing a brisk walk on my non run /plod days I listen to..... Comedy stuff like... The news quiz on Radio 4, Simon Mayos Confessions, I found a really funny comedy thing on radio 4 called "It's a fair cop"...
I even listen to the Archers!

It was My Dad Wrote a Porno - it wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea, one of the guys found out his dad was writing adult fiction so each episode they read out a chapter of the book. But each line they add some commentary as it’s not the most well written of books. There’s 3 people doing presenting it and they’re what make it so hilarious

As IannodaTruffe says you actually ran for 16 minutes. The second 8 minutes run was on the back of already running 8 mins before hand not to mention the walking in between which if memory serves me was 5 mins. This means you were on the go for 21minutes total. Next run you consolidate this. Well done you are doing great
