Love that phrase βmore than menopausalβ! Me too! After >20 years on the couch I am up and moving. It feel good. Still long way to go with this programme but we all have to start somewhere π
Congratulations! It feels great, doesn't it? You're right about pace too. I run slower than paint does, but.... I'm a runner! Enjoy your success, and well done, graduate!
That is brilliant! Well done you! What an achievement. I'm 64, a grandma like you and like you I've never been a runner. I graduated in April and I'm still going, very slowly now trying to work my way up to 10k. For about a month after I graduated I ran three times a week for about half an hour and just enjoyed it. I'd really recommend that! It just helps you to get used to the idea that you are a runner! I'm still slow, always will be I think, but I love it!
Well done! I started in March and graduated last month, 60 years old and grandmother to 7, soon to be 8! I can still only (!) manage 4k but slowly building up to 5! Very very slow and after every run I say βnever again!β X
