I’m just back from my third and final run of week 7 and I feel amazing. This has been my best run by far.
I went into W6 with new footwear and also added in running outside as well as on the treadmill at the gym. The three runs of W6 were ok but that was all - they were just ok. I didn’t feel comfortable somehow. Then came W7 and the continuous runs commenced. I have huffed and puffed and sweated buckets and when Sarah has said, “you should be finding a good rhythm” or words to that effect, I’ve felt like Bambi on ice. With roller skates on. Legs/knees/ankles/feet going in all directions. Today though I felt like the Greek God Hermes - as though my shoes had wings. I dare say there will be good runs and not so good runs but I’m going to bask in today’s good run for a little while longer.
