Not much to report about today's run, just the joy of having completed another week. The finishing line is in view now and I can hardly believe I've come this far. In all honesty I can't say I've enjoyed all the runs but I have revelled in the fact that I feel fitter and healthier than I have done for many, many years. I also feel emotionally energised by the sense of achievement after every single run. I'm sure weeks 8 and 9 will have their own fiendish challenges but I'm going for it.

Brilliant...well done...looking forward to when I'm where you are!! Seems like a world away!! Good luck with weeks 8 and 9!!
Well done. I'm only one ahead, I haven't enjoyed all the runs either, in fact some have been bloody difficult (I'm looking at you W6R1), but it is the healthier, leaner and fitter me that I'm enjoying!
w7r2 for me today so like you chugging along nicely, not enjoyed all the runs but now starting to enjoy them more
Good for you. The finishing post's not far away now. I know what you mean about not enjoying all the runs but boy that sense of achievement when each one is completed. Well done 😁
Oh so I'd forgotten you are one ahead of me. Wise words - I was exactly like Nibor5 with Week 6 Run 1, what a cow! Not all runs are fantastic, but what is fantastic is getting them under your belt and banking your stamina and fitness. Good luck for the last two weeks, you'll smash them I'm sure.
Bring it on !!! You are doing so well!
PS
There is no finishing line... it is where your personal journey starts and it is FANTASTIC...
Keep going. I am sure that we older runners get a bigger kick out of regaining some of the vigour of our youth than those who are just returning to where they should rightly be. I was 57 when I started C25K, now I'm 32!!!
