Week 7 Run 1

Epic fail tonight 😔 25 minute run I managed 15 mins straight then my legs just didn’t want to run, I managed a walk then run walk then run kinda effort. I do struggle with my leg, I wear a ankle support and bought trainers with advise from people in the shop but my legs really seem to struggle with a long length of time. Will repeat this untill I get it tho! Xx

That’s certainly far from a fail... you ran 15 minutes, not long ago that was impossible right? More than that, you did a run-walk to finish the session off when most would have just stopped. This run made you a fitter, stronger, better runner... and with your determination you’ll get there for sure.

Not a fail call it a practice run, have a rest day go slow and try again. You can do this. 😊😊

Every run is training for the next one, however it goes............take the positives, have a rest day and try again.

Try slowing down. Are you running at an easy conversational pace as described in the guide to the plan ?healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

No need to go any faster.

Not a fail. Some days are just tough. I've always found evenings quite hard. Your legs might be tired before you start. Maybe try and go a little slower. Most important is your determination to have another go. Good for you!

I was exactly the same if not worse (I only managed 12 mins). Went away for a week then attempted it again yesterday. Took a lot of grit and will power but managed it. New day, new run. Am sure you will smash it next attempt

Not a fail cos you haven't given up. If anything it's even more to be admired that you are continuing. I can tell you for sure that if that had happened to me I would have given up. Well done you, with that attitude you are already a winner!
