Week 7 Run 1 2nd time lucky

After failing badly to complete this run 10 days ago and getting totally disheartened I finally managed to nail it this morning. A week away with no running meant a change of mind set which was definitely needed as it was sheer will power that got me to the end with legs that felt like lead blocks and more shuffling than jogging for the last 5 minutes πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Fantastic stuff! I've just done W7R2 and the time between the 12.5 time check and the 20 minute check felt like about 40 minutes! But I knew I'd done it twice before so I just concentrated on things other than my tired legs and pushed on through. And we both did it! Yay us! 😊

I know what you mean. I thought the app had stopped working as had missed the bell telling me I was half way, o ly to realise it was because I hadn't actually reached the half way point πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Great job... shuffle/jog/run any will do the job! A lot of this is mental of course, and sounds like the break helped you get that mindset... I still have to use mental strength to get through some runs, others come relatively easily. Keep the legs loose and well hydrated tomorrow and enjoy run 2.
