Not been out since Thursday when I had a slight pull in my hamstring still from my last" proper" run last Tuesday. Rested up over the weekend and was unable to do my Weekly Virtual 5KβΉοΈ
Decided to visit my local parkrun venue and try a gentle jog to turn my legs over for just one lap (2.5K) as the course is reasonably flat. Thought I'd keep my legs warm so donned a pair of cycling leggings and felt like Instructor57 πππ In the end I wish I hadn't as temp was 21C and looked like I'd just come out the shower when I'd finishedπ
Anyhow all was good but made sure I did dynamic stretches before my run and a longer warm up than usual. Something to note as the weather gets colder as too easy to pick up a niggling injury. You have been warned!!ππ
