Thank you for all the encouragement & advice on this site!! Although it took me 2 weeks I have at last completed W1R3

The best advice was to change from static warm ups to Dynamic. No further problems with my calf muscles!

Ran in the rain...ear bud fell out, glasses needed wind screen wipers but heigh ho I did it.

Well done you , you persevered and you did it. You could try a baseball cap to keep the rain off your glasses 😊

Well done.

Who gave you the advice to do static warmups?

There is a possible link between pre run static stretching and injury, which is why we recommend dynamic stretches pre run, with the static stretching reserved for post run.

I am foolish & wrote the wrong thing!!! I was doing static pre run & changed to DYNAMIC on your advice 😂 Wrong terminology!! Apologies if this has confused any one else!!!

That's okay, there is a lot of jargon to get your head round.

Glad that you have had good results.
