I did it - Yippeee!!

Thanks to the encouragement I received this morning I completed my graduation run at the local Park Run.

I actually ran the whole 5k despite my 30 mins being up some way from the finish line. I was determined to go to the end and I did it. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

I have been reading this site every morning and have been encouraged by all the stories and support, it really does help.

When I started I really struggled and on week 2 I gave up before the minute and a half run ended.

Our bodies really are amazing and how lucky we are to be able to do this

Thanks to everyone out there and for those just starting this journey, you absolutely can do it if I can.

Thank you. You kept me going a couple of weeks ago when I was really struggling.

I got a time of 35.53 but i’m happy with that as I haven’t run 5k before. Also i’m Just glad I did it no matter what the time.

parkrun today as well but the wind was just so strong there was no way I could run the whole thing! But I now have a goal for my consolidation runs! Well done you! 👏👏
