Well this running thing kind of defies logic. How can I go from 2 minutes into a 20 run with ‘there is no way I can do this, I’m going to have to repeat a week’ to finishing the 20 mins with run to spare!! Michael said at the beginning of the podcast that this run was more mental that physical (and I believe pretty much anything he tells me) so I tried to remember that through the run. Once I found a comfortable plod, I also remembered that when I had run any distance before that as soon as I found my ‘flow’ I’d be fine. Tbh it’s more Couch to 1k atm but as a fully fledged member of the joffling tortoise club (bow to the gang) I know progress is possible.
Now what to do about my rather damp smelly trainers 🙈😂
