First run in ages...

And technically Week 7 run 3... I cheated for about 1min in the middle but ran some extra at the end. Largely downhill and combining with the go wild Gorillas sculpture trail in Jersey - ran from my house to the pier, then walked around aimlessly for a good hour as I couldn't find one of the sculptures and the map was inaccurate. 10,000 steps on the way at any rate!

4.29km including the walking, 35min total. Getting there.

Worth doing that run again, just to build that 'continuous running'

(But love what you added on)

I know - and it's entirely psychological, I was fine(!). I've struggled with 25min every time but pretty sure it's mental rather than physical, given that I can go on to walk for another 9km!

Yes, these weeks are like that. I've had a long time of not having a 'soundtrack' for my runs, but was having a bit of 'fizzling out' trouble lately so I've been accompanied by Gardeners' Question Time and Griefcast lately.

You could try tiny steps or a long breath out when you get that 'need a break' feeling.
