W4R2.... Changing my mindset..

A "strange" thing is starting to happen... Im telling myself i dont like running and yet im thinking to myself on off days "ill be doing my run tomorrow?"... Even looking forward to it... ive managed every saturday (1st run of week), tuesday and thursday to be up at 5.30am and out within 15 minites and then do the program... Although like most people i have some crap going on in my life this 30 minutes blocks everything out and at least sets me up for the day... Im still not totally at the "i love running stage" but im getting there and the aim is a park run after completing week 9 (mid september)... What is wrong with me im even setting goals now!!! 😀😀😀

It’s funny how it makes you feel. I smile when I’m running and then I feel happy. It’s a little bit of sanctuary 😁

It creeps up on you, huh?! I think about routes and runs all the time, it’s so funny! I find the whole thing a strange, addictive feeling. I too think about where I will go next and when! Still, makes a change from work, cooking, cleaning, kids blah blah blah 😂

The benefits of running are not just physical - the improvements to our mental wellbeing are transformative. The inch loss we see, but I loved how running can change a mood, and puts me in a very positive mindset. Looks like you’ve caught the bug!
