Thank you all that advised me on my last run.
I headed out for week 3 completely out of whack! Having been at work all day I was already tired. Normally I go out before dinner, but a family roast was on the table so had to eat first, plus I had to jog a different route and had been really rubbish with my water intake.
Headed out after lots of talks to one's self thinking, I'll give it my best shot, and if I don't complete at least I have tried.
But I surprised myself. I remembered all the advise every time I felt a struggle. I slowed down, thought about my posture and didn't get hung up on being a mouth breather. It was great. 2 mins left was my dig deep moment, not helped by my lace coming undone. But I was determined not to stop so keep going with one loose running shoe!
Actually starting to feel that I will complete this programme and run 5k eventually. Even registered with park run.... Although won't be venturing to any events just yet.
