Wk5r1: I saw my shadow and I looked like a runner! 😲

Following reports on issues with sarah on week 5, I dumped her for the week and coupled up with Michael. A man of few words and a no messing approach - I quite liked it 😊. After forcing my very unhappy teenage daughter to bring the dog and we’d go β€˜and get some fresh air’ together down to the local park for my first ever evening run, it was easier than expected (the run, not dragging my daughter along). And because it was the evening I caught sight of my shadow - and I looked like someone who goes to the park to run - how good is that! #notsoslow #someonepleasecutthisgrass πŸ‘πŸ˜Š

Great running... hopefully the council pick up on that last bit for you. Hate to be the one to break it to you, but you ARE someone who goes to the park to run 🀣

Enjoy run 2... when the bell rings you’re halfway through this plan, and it’s the tougher half that will be done.

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I actually look faster in my shadow than I feel like I’m running. And the council really do need to cut the grass πŸ˜‚πŸ‘

Same here... since they took the goalposts down in June they’ve let it grow so much I’ve changed Park... still, soon be football season again!

Your shadow probably shows the real picture... if we are in the zone and running comfortably it can often feel slower than it actually is.

Ooh didn’t think of that. Funny how things happen when you aren’t expecting them 😊

I get a shock when I pass a shop front or car window. The reflection makes me laugh out loud each time, I’m running!!!
