Forgot my running shoes and a great swim

I forgot to pack my running shoes and did not realise until I was 50 miles in to my journey to work.(stayed in Swindon this week) Quick phone call to my wife and they were in the post. So did not run Monday so had a lazy night. They arrived Tuesday morning, much to the amusement of my work colleagues.

So I had two good runs. Then I went for my Thursday swim with the aim of completing 80 lengths to beat my PB and ended up doing 100 lengths in 1 hour 15 minutes and was very happy with that :-)

Friday I managed to sneak off early and get home in time to surprise my daughter and sit in on one of her school lessons and then had a good chill out with the family Friday evening.

Ran my park run this morning and hit another PB (waiting for official results), going for a bike ride tomorrow, so all in all a good week.

got the park run results - 26.08 not the 25 minutes yet, but getting there.


OMG and you find time to get on the computer too. Yep, dizzy too.....

Reply have so much energy! The swimming time is amazing.....40 lengths in 30 mins for me. Your a good example of combining work, home and exercise. Enjoy your weekend :)
