What can I tell ya, it can only be due to the planets aligning just right!...no wine last night coz I wanted to be nicely hydrated, a lovely 14 degrees and a bit of rain to keep me cool throughout. After all the heat we've had that's been making running so unpleasant it just felt good so I kept my pace up and ended up knocking just over 1 and a half mins off my PB!
Felt a few aches in my lower back and hip when I was stretching out after so I may pay for it tomorrow but none of us seem to be spring chickens on here so I guess that's par for the course while we strengthen up. Plenty of water and stretches over the next couple of days should see me ready for Tuesday evening's run πββοΈππ

Thank you Perygl, it's a good feeling...I'm sure if you keep on after graduation you too will be managing 5K runs. I'll look forward to seeing you post about it on here ππ
Oh behave...and thank you, that gave me a big smile π. I am 5.8 with reasonably long legs so I have genetics on my side, 5K in 30 minutes still seems a hell of an ask though doesn't it! π³
Yes indeed Run46, that excellent time of 33.49 for your 5K run was certainly caused by the aligning of the planets, perhaps even the last recent partial eclipse of the π moon had something to do with your run as well. π π
