Set off for Consolidation 8 n realised immediately that, although it felt comfortable, my pace was definitely faster than usual. But it felt fine n I could still talk to myself n even sing (quietly ๐) so I figured Iโd go with it n see how long I could sustain it for
Well, the answer to that was all the flippin way! I even ran past my starting point before Pacer announced Iโd done 30 minutes, n i couldโve easily carried on for a bit!
My last 5 runs have stayed between 1.34 and 1.38 miles so it was quite a shock when I checked my figures n saw Iโd done 1.47 miles n my pace was 59 seconds faster than my fastest pace ever!!!
I have absolutely no clue where that came from but I hope it hangs around! ๐๐ฎ๐

Whenever l break the speed barrier (yeah, right..) it's normally because l slept better, hydrated more, rested in a more relaxed way, etc... You know, the stuff that make your body feel better.
Thanks ๐. Just stick with it n the improvements will come. I think it was UnfitNoMore who told me Iโd know when I was ready to move on from consolidation when I felt like I could do more, so Iโm taking yesterdayโs run as a sign ๐
Thatโs great! I found there were tiny improvements in pace n distance until the warm weather hit n I had to take it slower n things levelled off. Then boom, yesterday happened n now I get the point of consolidation. Hopefully it wonโt be long before you do too ๐
