How did that happen!

I stepped out of my front door to go for my run and was verbally abused by an older man whose dog had just defecated on the private communal lawn outside my house. I hadn’t even said anything (as irritating as it was). I was a bit shocked to have been sworn at to be truthful.

I set off anyway and was thinking of it all the way round. Result... fastest and furthest run yet. 4.5k and 4.69 pace. Shows what happens when you don’t think about the actual running. Knee was good today after 4 days rest.

Nothing like running off a bit of frustration! Well done you. Cant believe the man was so rude when he was in the wrong - some people grrr!

You should have reported that man to the council or police, that was a good but angry run for you, sub-25-minute 5K pace.

That guy sounds like a psychopath tbh.

Good job on your run though

He was probably embarrassed and irritated already and you got the blast, unfortunately. Never mind, wow, you were flying after that! 🤣 That’s some pace you got going, makes my eyes water just thinking about it! 🤸‍♂️👏🏻Glad you’re knee was good too. Happy days! 😊🏃‍♀️🐢

You’re right, your mind was taken off the run itself! due to the loser with the dog and its contents......I had a few crossed words with my wife the other week (nothing serious) just as I was about to go out through the door, I didn’t think about the run itself and it actually went well as my mind was on that instead ! So now I regularly upset her before every run as I find this helps....not really...she’d kill me ! ......,as you were ladies 🤪

Ha genius! If I can’t find the old man I’ll pick on my husband. Wonder if I should have a 5 minute argument or book a course of 10 ....? (Anyone old enough to remember this?)

A 5 min for 5k and a 10 min for 10k 😂

Why is that so familiar? It’s niggling my brain now. TV program?

Were you wanting the 5 minute argument, or the full half hour?😂

Can’t beat a bit of John Cleese!

Monty Python at its best. Wouldn’t be allowed now.
