Well just completed W5R3, the Big 20! A familiar story I know but genuinely struggled to do a minute in W1 and now can do 20 - C25K is truly awesome!!
Can’t believe I’m 2/3 of the way through the programme already and whilst 25-30 minutes still sounds daunting, am confident it can be done based both on my personal progress to date and the countless success stories/encouragement you access via this forum which to me as important as the C25K app itself!
Final couple of furlongs coming up and eager to go!

Week 5 run 3 is purely psychological, don't get me wrong, it is still 20 minutes of running but the program prepares your body, it's YOU that needs the proof that you can do it.
Here's a mantra I used first time I did C25K:
If I can run for 20 minutes, I can run for 25,
If I can run for 25 minutes, I can run for 28,
If I can run for 28 minutes, I can run for 30,
If I can run for 30 minutes, I can graduate.
By now you should have your breathing sorted, just do what you did for the 20 minute run and don't think about the extra time, it's all in your head.
Just a quick note of warning though, a couple of people found the interval runs of week 6 threw them a little after the nice 20 run of week 5 run 3.
Congratulations, enjoy the grin you will no doubt have for the rest of the day/week.
You're doing great, just take it slow, sort your breathing out and, most importantly, relax and enjoy it.
First time I did W5R3 I ran it a day early has I had to know if I could do it or not, in one was I was surprised that I did, in another I wasn't, it's really hard to explain, it's like my head said you can't do this but my body was, you got this, keep going.
Likewise, you got this, not long now until you graduate.
Thanks, it’s incredible and I agree. Great to see more and more people doing C25K and hope my stories like yours and the other bloggers helps spur newbies on....I can say that now I’m a....err....middie!!
Well done you!! It's a great feeling isn't it. Keep at a slow steady pace for week 6 and you will smash it. I've just done wk6 run 2 this morning and even though it's hot it wasn't too bad. Slow n steady gets me to the end of each session
Wowzer, awesome! Totally with you on how much the success stories and encouragement on here help. It’s making a huge difference to me. Onward and upward! 👏🏻
