W3R2. Should I have kept on running with a burning shin? 🤔

Completed the run yesterday, in cooler weather, and at first felt great. Possibly this led to over confidence because soon my legs were hurting and my left shin was burning 😫. Thing is, I wasn’t sure if this was a natural thing as my legs aren’t used to and I had to overcome it or if I was causing myself injury. I went super slow and the pain went in about half an hour. I’m running again tomorrow. Any ideas or suggestions gratefully received 🙂

I was the same as you when I started running my shins kicked up a right storm. If the pain didn’t go I would say get it checked out, as you said it went I found that calf stretches and an ice pack helped it go away faster after a run for me. It is one of those transition things and should go away. Here is a link to some calf stretches. Happy running
