Running on different days for me this week because I need to leave the house crazy early and do a lot of walking tomorrow - but that's 2nd run of week 7 down. I think I was a little faster than previous run, but mostly happy I got to the end - last 5 mins were a bit rough, but I just slowed down and ploughed on.
Getting a bit bored of the podcast music (I'm just using the basic podcast), may look into eventually putting my own music on - had audiobooks suggested, but I'm not sure I'm at that level of not wanting some music and a beat.. has anyone tried it?
Had battery saver on on phone, so no idea of distance or speed, but I know I'm doing around 3k based on route I take for these runs.
Said I was going out for a run, rather than a jog-walk for the first time though.
Imagine how fast I'd be if I lost all the weight I should. That's a story for another day!

Well done you...keep it slow and steady as you move onto the lovely longer runs
Folk run to whatever they feel suits them... I just followed the podcasts and after Graduation, then used my own music..I do like a beat and I have know the temp and beat for many of my runs: )
I think if I listened to audio books, I would get to wrapped up in them.. I would be running all the time
Once I get to end of week 9, I might try an audiobook and see if that's finally what stops me thinking about how long I have left.. I have a bunch I bought a while back so they are just sitting here.
