Guess who’s finished week 5?!😜 I absolutely LOVED the 20 minute run! It was tiring but I didn’t stop once, I paced myself and kept telling myself I could do it! Who even am I?! I’m so shocked that 5 weeks ago I couldn’t run for a minute and now I’m running for 20!
Bring on week 6! Thank you all for your support I’m so glad I signed up to this forum☺️

Great job... most people can’t run 10 minutes straight, now you can run double that... and you’ve only just begun, that’s amazing huh?
Self coaching like you did there is a good skill to work on... we can pay the best coach in the world, but that guy isn’t on that event run with us, so that guy is only ever really the second best... the best one is always within you.
Slow and steady into the week 6 intervals and then you got this.
Thank you! That’s so true, it’s a mental challenge rather than a physical one! There was one point where I REALLY wanted to stop but I told myself if I stopped then I wouldn’t be allowed a cup of tea when I got home... it worked😂
We are really enjoying our run days and so chuffed to be running i ran in my 20’s but my partner was reluctant to start now he’s more enthusiastic than me
I know it’s a very daunting one as it’s the first really long run. As I’ve said above, it’s definitely a mental challenge! You don’t need to run fast at all, just a light jog and I promise it does feel quite easy when you do it. I think we forget that C25k trains us to pace ourselves and we are better than we think. You can do this!!☺️ don’t be afraid to stop for 30 seconds every so often if you need to
Very well done. The 20 minutes run is a psychological rather than physical challenge and you passed it with flying colours 👏👏. Keep up the great work 👍🏻
Yay well done! Great feeling isn’t it. That run gave me the confidence to do the longer run in Wk 6, which I did this morning. Feeling good. Enjoy your next week of running
