Week 5 completed

This morning I did the 20 minute run that is week 5 run 3. Felt good, not too much trouble. It was windy and threatening spits of rain so I chose the canal towpath (flat, and quite sheltered by trees). It certainly felt easier than I remember from doing w5r3 back in 2016. Onwards and upwards! Over the next 3 weeks I'm travelling around the UK quite a bit so I'm looking forward to discovering runs in new areas. Exciting!

Check out if there are any park runs near where are travelling on a Saturday don’t panic you can walk run it plus you have the benefit of the course marshals encouraging you around the course all you have to do is join down load a barcode run for free at any park run course you only need the barcode at the end of the run when are given a tag they scan you barcode and then the tag you are handed a little late you will get an email with your official time! It’s just a thought 💭

Enjoy your travels and well done 👏

Oh thanks, but I did Parkruns from 2016 to 2020 so I have my barcode - just have to find it 😅

wonderful, well done 👍😀 Enjoy your travels.

Congratulations. That's encouraging to know, Joy57....I've got that coming up the run after next and I'm slightly dreading it - it seems a massive leap up on anything so far.....

Congratulations, Joy57 ! 🥳

I am right behind you 😎 Well, not literally, I think, though I did my week 5 run 3 run along a channel as well 🤣 I am redoing the C25K program after a knee injury... Looking forward to virtually joining you in week 6!

I too just completed W5R3 it was hard but I did manage it! Some was uphill so I found that really tricky. Supposed to be on W6R1 today … not sure if I will fit it in…. I love running in my lunch hour at work as there’s a big park opposite … DIY may just fill my day today! WELL DONE you for getting over half way.
