Well I said last night's run was tough..... Today I feel like I need a hip replacement! Never felt the effects like this before. Feel light headed and generally unwell. Good thing I'd already decided on a couple of rest days before my graduation run 😁

Perhaps you ran run 2 of week 9 a little too fast or did not hydrate enough the day before you ran, anyway, have at least two days off running before you run your graduation run, drink plenty of water the day before you run and run it a little slower than you ran run 2, good luck for your graduation run πŸƒ 😊.

Thanks. Probably didn't drink enough or eat enough!

Poor you, hope you recover quickly. My hip started playing up last week and I really should have rested it for longer - ran at Parkrun on Saturday despite suspecting it wasn't quite 100% and am really paying for that decision this week. Take as long as you need, graduation will be there waiting for you. ☺

If I was thirty years younger I'd probably remember where you'd left it πŸ˜‚

I recommend this to everyone - it’s a low impact style of running- the Japanese slow jogging technique. I run this way all the time & love it. It’s great for building strength and stamina, and you get all the benefits of running without the pain!
