Ok super quick post tonight.
Decided to do my 20 min run on the disused railway line (now a proper tarmac path no 🚂🚂🚂) as it's shady.
Lots of other runners, dog walkers etc enjoying the warm evening. Approaching a lady from behind, guess I'm about 20 ft away when she looks over her shoulder at me. I jokingly said "is it my heavy breathing that gave me away?" "No" she replies "i'm hard of hearing but I could feel the vibrations from your running" 😳 guess I'm not kissing the pavement with my twinkle toes more 🐘🐘🐘🐘 herd to elephants 😬
Slight problem in that legs refused to obey brain signals to slow down. My 2nd km was a minute faster than first and was still getting faster at the end of the run. So maybe stampeding elephant is more appropriate 🤔 🐘
Maybe the new shoes really do make you go faster 🤔🤔🤔 need to rediscover my inner snail 🐌💕 before Thursday!
